We are a friendly, non-competitive group and our goal is to have fun , become better photographers and enjoy making new friends. Our competitions are meant to be a learning experience, and we try to have constructive critiquing as a learning exercise.
In addition to our competitions we have guest speakers, programs, social events, photographic outings and we participate in local and state programs. You will find our club to be an inspiration to your photographic endeavors. You are welcomed to attend any of our events as a visitor and to join even as a part time resident. Several of our members go north for the summer.
We maintain a gallery of images and try to represent most of our members in the gallery.
Our meetings begin in November and end in March. They are scheduled for the first and third Mondays of the month beginning at 7:15 PM. There are additional meetings scheduled for the months in 2009. We now compete only in a digital format and no longer in slides. We also have a print competition. This year we will have a local print exhibition which will allow you to show and sell yours prints as well.
